After graduating with First Class Honours in BSc Physiotherapy, I travelled to Ghana to begin my career, volunteering at the capital's teaching hospitals, a local Premier League football club and village outreach clinics. It was an incredible experience that reinforced my passion for helping people and showed me the impact physiotherapy can have, regardless of the resources available.
On returning to the UK, I joined a specialist private scoliosis clinic in my native Suffolk before moving back to Coventry to begin my NHS career. Specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy from the outset, I developed my clinical skills before relocating to London to broaden my experience.
I joined the physiotherapy team at The Royal London Hospital, one of the UK's leading major trauma centres, where I gained valuable experience across sports medicine, orthopaedics, hydrotherapy, GP and emergency department clinics. During this time, I also qualified in Acupuncture and Pilates, further expanding the range of treatments I could offer my patients.
In 2014, I joined Six Physio, combining my passion for delivering exceptional patient care with a growing interest in leadership and developing others. Over the years, I progressed into the role of Clinic Director, where I was responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, growing the clinic and creating an environment where both patients and clinicians could thrive.
As my leadership responsibilities grew, I moved into a company-wide HR leadership role, supporting the development of our people strategy, recruitment, performance management and leadership development across the business. This gave me the opportunity to help shape the culture of Six Physio while supporting colleagues throughout every stage of their careers.
Most recently, I was appointed Group Director, overseeing several of our London clinics and helping to shape the strategic direction of Six Physio. My role focuses on developing our people, delivering exceptional patient experiences and ensuring our clinics continue to provide the premium, evidence-based care that Six Physio is known for. Although my responsibilities are now broader, I continue to enjoy treating patients and staying connected to clinical practice, ensuring I never lose sight of what matters most, helping people move better, recover faster and achieve their goals.
Having spent almost two decades in musculoskeletal physiotherapy across private practice, the NHS and senior leadership, I remain as passionate about the profession today as I was when I first qualified. Whether I'm treating a patient, mentoring a clinician or leading strategic projects across the business, my focus is always the same: delivering outstanding care and helping people reach their full potential.
