Progress, not perfection
Our strength and conditioning classes are small by design, with a maximum of three participants to one physiotherapist, and every participant works to their own individual programme. Before you start, your clinician will take the time to understand your current health and fitness, your history, and what you're working toward, so that what follows is built around you rather than a generic class plan.
Strength and conditioning works for a wide range of people and goals. Whether you're focused on injury prevention, working toward something specific in your sport, managing a longer-term condition like osteoporosis or cardiovascular disease, recovering postnatally or post-operatively, navigating the physical changes of menopause, or simply wanting to build confidence in how you move and train, these classes are designed to meet you where you are.
For those who are newer to exercise, or who've found the gym an uncertain place, training alongside a physiotherapist in a small, supportive group is one of the best ways to build both strength and confidence at the same time. And for those already active who want to stay in partnership with their physio as part of how they train, these classes make that straightforward.

FAQs
Your first appointment involves a thorough assessment of your condition. Your physiotherapist will take a detailed history, assess your movement and any relevant tests, and discuss a plan for your treatment and rehabilitation.
Treatment duration depends on your specific condition, how long you have had it and your goals. Your physiotherapist will give you a realistic timeline after your initial assessment.
Home exercises are a key part of most physiotherapy programmes. Your physiotherapist will prescribe exercises appropriate to your condition and ensure you know how to perform them correctly.
