Jonathan Grayson is a running guru at Six Physio (sixphysio.com). He reveals his top tips for injury prevention:

  • Don’t treat, cure. 50 percent of running injuries are re-occurrences.
  • Don’t just rest, recover. Inflammation from micro-trauma builds overnight.
  • Do gain control. There’s a lot of force being pushed through your legs when running and it needs to be controlled correctly. Every time you land on one foot, a force of over two times your body weight goes through your leg!
