Working background

My early years were spent working as the physiotherapist with St Johnstone Football Club, enjoying three successful seasons in Scottish football’s top flight. Concurrently to this I also worked for the Youth Academy at Rangers Football Club, being responsible for evening clinics, pitch side cover and medical care on match days and at tournaments throughout Europe. There was also a trip as the physiotherapist with Scottish Hockey’s youth contingent shoehorned in to the busy diary, on top of carrying out a research role with the NHS in to the delivery of the orthopaedic service.

After three busy and enjoyable years north of the border, I decided to try something different and expand on my clinical experience by taking up a role as a musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapist with the NHS in Somerset. It wasn’t long until I found myself back involved in the sporting scene though, taking on the role of Club Physiotherapist at Bridgwater and Albion RFC. This provided continuity from and added to my previous sporting experiences.

I then made the move to London and joined team SIX on Harley Street, before their move to Fitzrovia. After 4 years I’m taking the step to Southwark, as Clinic Director of Six Physio’s 11th Clinic.
