On Thursday, I set off with c. 100 others from the property industry, mainly MAMILS, to cycle to Cannes, c.1,500km’s in 6 days.
This year the event celebrates 10 years of cycling to MIPIM and is aiming to raise over £250k in donations to take the total sum raised during the 10 years to over £2m.
The main beneficiary is the children’s charity Coram with Article 25, Tom’s Trust, Multiple System Atrophy Trust and Emthonjeni Trust also benefiting from donations. Links to the charities are below and on my sponsorship page should you want to know more about them.

Sutherland’s mother Megan sadly passed away last Friday after a brave battle with cancer. Her funeral takes place on the second and longest day of the ride (200miles!) and after all my training and the sponsorship I have raised, Megan would not want me to miss the ride. In her memory, the organisers have agreed that anything I raise over my £3k target can be split 50:50 with Macmillan nurses, an amazing organisation, which Megan supported for many years. With the significant help of Trust Estates Limited who have generously become an alloy sponsor for me, I have just reached £3k, so please help me exceed my target.
I really appreciate all donations and the support. I may have done this ride before, but it is still an enormous challenge requiring a significant amount of training and the 6am dark cold training rides don’t get any easier!
