About the clinic

St James's Physio Clinic

We are delighted to be re-opening our Clinic on Queen Anne’s Gate:  4 years have passed, but we’re back offering expert Physiotherapy to the residents and workplaces in Westminster and Victoria areas.

 

Our fully-equipped Rehab studio offers both Pilates and Performance classes, with a Specialised Hand Clinic also onsite.

Physiotherapists’ help people affected by illness, injury or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy and education and advice. We will help you to feel fitter, stronger and more confident in your bodies abilities to help you lead the life you want to.

At your initial assessment, your Physiotherapist will take a thorough history and then conduct a physical assessment, before presenting your diagnosis and discussing a treatment plan that suits you.

No, although medically trained, Physiotherapists’ are not Doctors.
Please wear something you are comfortable moving in, as you will be asked to perform different movements as well as being tested physically by your physiotherapist to determine your diagnosis.
At Six Physio we offer 30 minute or 60 minute appointments.
Yes, Physiotherapy is the part of the Gold Standard of care recommended by the National Guidelines for Arthritis. Physiotherapy can help with joint stiffness, muscle strength and general mobility to help support the affected joint.
Yes, Physiotherapy is recommended for treatment of sciatica. Physiotherapy can help to reduce pain, improve movement and reduce recurrence of symptoms.
Yes, Physiotherapy is recommended for neck pain. It can help alleviate stiffness and pain, and help to strengthen the muscles around the neck, shoulders and upper back.
Yes, Physiotherapy is part of the Gold Standard of treatment by the National Guidelines. It is essential that you continue to move in a safe and effective way, which a Physio can support with. A Physio can help you understand what may have contributed to your symptoms and how to prevent them coming back in the future.

The cost of physiotherapy will vary depending on the service you require. The specialist services, such as Hand Therapy and Pelvic Health cost more as further training is required for the Physiotherapist to be competent in them. Please see our price list for further details.

A private Physiotherapist at Six Physio will be able to offer you a timely appointment. You will not need to contact your GP or wait on long waiting lists. Once you have had your initial assessment, your treatment sessions can be as frequent as you need, with a personalised treatment plan that will be discussed and agreed between yourself and the Physiotherapist.
