Working background
Prior to University Dave was working as a Personal Trainer and GP Exercise Referral Specialist, managing the safe delivery of exercise and rehab therapy for a variety of Cardiorespiratory Conditions. In 2014 Dave decided to enhance his overall rehabilitation knowledge by enrolling at Cardiff University as a Full -Time Physiotherapy Student. Since graduating, Dave has gained varied experience in private practice, as well as working with Elite Athletes at Cardiff City Football Club!
Working in Professional Sport, Dave was able to hone his skills guided by the latest Physiotherapy treatments and research! Dave is particularly passionate about guiding people back to sporting performance and brings his experience of Post – Operative Rehabilitation following bony injury, tendon, and ligament reconstruction to the Six Physio team.
Dave says “”I enjoy guiding and returning people back to running, sporting participation and performance, knowing the specific demands that are required to achieve this and ensuring my patients are confident upon their return””.
Outside of the clinic Dave is a keen all-round Sportsman and a previous county level golfer. Although last year he was introduced to Pickleball which now takes up most of his spare time!
