Working background
My journey into physiotherapy began through my passion for water polo, where I proudly represented GB. My experience as a player introduced me to the world of physiotherapy, inspiring me to pursue it as a career. While I now play the sport more casually, it continues to fuel my appreciation for the connection between movement, recovery, and performance.
I started my career in private practice in Nottingham, working with a diverse range of patients, including climbers, ice skaters and providing pitch-side support for university football and rugby teams. I then joined the NHS, initially in MSK outpatients, where I developed my skills, in particular treating chronic pain, before progressing to a role as a FCP. Working alongside GP’s and advanced practitioners I developed new assessment skills and later qualified as an injecting clinician.
My goal is to help patients understand their injuries, regain confidence in movement, and achieve their goals, whether recovering from everyday strains or excelling in sports. I bring a wealth of experience and a personal understanding of athletic demands, which I integrate into my practice to deliver tailored, effective treatment.
