Hannah Winnie

I graduated from the University of Otago in 2021 and started my physiotherapy career in 2022 at Hawke’s Bay Hospital. My first role was a rotational inpatient physiotherapist, moving through Acute Rehab, Orthopaedics, Respiratory, and Neurology wards, plus weekend shifts in ICU. I worked with a wide range of patients, from acute strokes and amputees to elective surgical cases.

In 2023, I then moved into an outpatient MSK role in the same hospital, treating post-op patients, chronic conditions, paediatrics and many more. It was a great chance to get more hands-on with musculoskeletal care.

In 2024, I developed a real interest in Women’s Health, focusing on ante- and post-natal care. I’ve been treating pelvic girdle pain, pregnancy-related back pain, diastasis recti, and more. I have found this really rewarding and am excited to explore this further in my time at Six Physio.
