Merlin Evans

I started my professional career as a clinical MSK physiotherapist in UK private practice, where I managed a diverse caseload including musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, paediatric patients, neurological conditions and chronic pain presentations. In this role, I worked closely with doctors and orthopaedic surgeons while independently assessing and treating patients with a strong focus on rehabilitation-led care, using structured clinical reasoning, progressive exercise-based rehabilitation and manual therapy where appropriate to support confident return to work, sport and everyday activity.

My approach emphasised movement quality, load management and patient education, ensuring rehabilitation programmes were tailored to individual goals and sustainable in the long term. I have completed L2 APPI Clinical Matwork Pilates, which supports my interest in evidence-based, physiotherapy-led Pilates-informed rehabilitation and motor control.
