Working background
I graduated from the University of Otago in 2015 and have since enjoyed working in musculoskeletal private practice. My passion lies in injury prevention and promoting long-term health especially among young female athletes and peri/postmenopausal women.
I have facilitated the NetballSmart Injury Prevention Program and served as the physiotherapist for the North Otago Netball Team, as well as the University of Canterbury Women’s Premier Football League team for six years. My experience also includes subcontracting in rest homes and supporting geriatric post-operative rehabilitation in the community.
Recently, my partner and I have embraced indoor bouldering and become part of London’s rock climbing scene. This interest has inspired me to further my studies in hand therapy, with a focus on managing hand injuries in climbers and other individuals.
