I have been told by doctors and therapists I have a displacement injury with my ‘atlas bone !!!!! It is quite a discomfort at times. My therapist was quit irate that they did not ‘crown ‘ me it was so sever. I have also C1 C2 C3, L3 L4 L5 and S1 damage.
I also suffer from left shoulder rotator cuff injury. My tailbone is ‘a pain in the ass’..
Do you think I shall live??? I am 67 years old and have not included my arthritis symptoms …
thank you in advance;
Sincerely,
Michael

Hi Michael
This is real chiropractors territory who believe in subluxation and displacement theories. Whether this right or wrong is a matter of contention.
Personally I think what you’ve got is what you’ve got – and you’ve had if for a few years and so I don’t think your in any imminent danger of succumbing to the Grim Reaper!
As your getting older and getting a few grey hairs and a bit of wrinkly skin, your joints and soft tissues are doing exactly the same – and doesn’t always mean it’s painful, but arthritis is very normal.
Don’t get too stuck on medical imagining and diagnosis. You’ve got you’ve got but it’s what you do with it that counts.
Go see someone for a gentle, but progressive rehab program. Improve your balance, get your heart beating a little faster and live your lift to the full.
