Our response to The Telegraph’s article yesterday…. K-Tape: miracle cure or glorified sticking plaster?
We’ve known for a while that there is poor evidence to support any claims that this type of tape does what it says on the tin.
So we have a really simple rule when using it – it must make our patients either feel better or move better immediately after it’s application. If not the tape is removed immediately.
This will allow our patients rehab to start pretty much straightway. We don’t and won’t use it on everybody, but those who we do seem to dig it…
